NaturePark UK
Business Structure:
As the umbrella organisation Naturepark UK initially
concentrates on
fundraising activities. Once sufficient funds
have been generated to allow for
Pilot Projects to materialise, profitable
sub-companies are to be utilised in order to expedite
the raising of further revenue.
The next step would be
a merger of pilot projects to a larger area, in
terms of a diverse general project with a single
boundary. The “for
profit” sub-organisations pay a
lease to Naturepark UK. These funds will be used
for monitoring and overseeing activities
guaranteeing the overall adherence of the
sub-organisations to the concept of maintaining and
furthering species diversity. If a sub organisation
ceases to be financially viable then it may need to
stop trading.
Apart from the traditional uses of conservation
areas and
national parks, mainly
tourism and
research, the opportunities for profitable yet
sustainable use are endless:
Timber production ,
coppicing , or
forestry activities in general,
