About
NaturePark UK:
Naturepark UK Limited is accepted by
the Inland Revenue as a
charity for tax purpose under the reference
XT24666.
As part of
the 2011
International Year of Forests and the 2010
Year of Biodiversity Initiative Naturepark UK
aims to further
sustainable nature protection by approaching
conservation from a different angle. We believe
that, due to ongoing pressures on
natural resources, the chances for sustainable
conservation are enhanced if the efforts have clear
economical benefits.
The project plan consists of three stages:
1st.
The Concept:
Conservation efforts must maintain or
even further biodiversity, utilising a faster
than natural change of the environment in order to
generate profits and therefore guarantee
sustainability.
2nd.
An
agroforestry
pilot project will provide evidence that an
integrated use of land
allows to utilise natural recourses
sustainable and profitable whilst increasing
biodiversity at the same time.
3rd.
Expansion of the project area.
